Increasing capacity with Hylas 4

Following the success of our Avanti Hylas 2 service, revolutionizing service provision throughout Africa with the power of Ka-band, Bentley Walker Freedomsat are pleased to announce the deployment of new services on Avanti Hylas 4, hugely increasing our capacity to support our Africa VSAT customer base.

With initial rollouts from the Makarios GW7 hub providing coverage to Southern Sudan, the Ivory Coast, Burkino Faso, Ghana and Togo, coverage will be extending to provide service throughout western, central and southern Africa. The new service will be a major development in the African VSAT market, giving satellite broadband consumers the increased efficiency of the very latest DVB-S2X technology, supported by the years of expertise which our customers at Bentley Walker Freedomsat have come to rely on.

Satellite internet agents and customers will benefit from the flexibility and convenience of Ka-band technology, offering rapid service deployment with smaller and more economical ODUs than previous C-band and Ku-band technologies. As with our previous Hylas 2 service, there is the option of converting existing Ku-band systems, giving a massive performance boost to legacy systems.

This new service will also fully support CIR, offering our VSAT clients a highly economic and competitive dedicated bandwidth solution ideal for requirements including VoIP, videoconferencing, and much more.

Contact our expert Sales Department today on sales@bentleywalker.com to discuss further how this new service can benefit you and your users. We are particularly interested to hear from experienced VSAT resellers based in the Hylas 4 coverage looking to partner with us and reach out to customers in their region with news of this exciting new service.
